1. Use your time wisely
The best time to post your content isn’t always convenient for you. Depending on your target audience you might not even be awake! (Side note, when is the best time to post? In the coming weeks I will post a blog on that very question!)
Scheduling ahead of time will save you from rushing a poorly worded post, half asleep at 4am in the morning. It will help you post during your 1pm work meeting that you always have on a Thursday. You can chose a time that is suitable for you, perhaps its 8:30am every morning for 30mins, and plan out your post ensuring they follow the style and theme of your brand. Which takes me to point 2.
2. Cultivate a consistent look and feel
Your followers have subscribed to your accounts for a reason. They liked your message and thought, “I want more of that”. One of the sure fire ways to lose them, is to start posting content off topic.
Say you have a loyal following who love to hear how they too can be a successful affiliate marketer – how do you think they would feel if you started posting about the latest government policies?
But constructing a block of posts in unison you can easily ensure they all read with a unified aesthetic and voice.

3. Upload visuals from your desktop or laptop
I don’t know about you, but I don’t like typing out long streams of text on my phone. I like to visualize my posts on a computer. Search for new pictures, video links on bigger screens.
Add to this the images you find mind not be suitable, and need editing. Perhaps the video’s you have you recorded yourself and need post production. Being able to schedule your posts on your PC gives you far more editing power.
4. Encourage engagement
A successful social media feed tells the story of your brand. Its a snapshot of everything you want your followers to see and feel.
Build relevance, and consistent content without sacrificing your daily content quality. Posting more content ensures your different demographics see your posts. Not everyone is on their phone at the same time.
Having a stream stream of great content in your feed can encourage engagement from your customers. But don’t post too much!
Remember the attage all killer, no filler. The perfect caption does exist. Don’t ruin it with meaningless waffle.

5. Gain followers
As an affiliate marketer, it keeps coming back to the same thing. Traffic, followers, content views. Posting seven times a week or more has been proven to increase engagement and follower counts.
Brands that post seven times or more a week increase both engagement and follower counts. A study on instagram found that follower counts increased four times as fast when posting once a day, over those who posted only once a week.
